Day 10 - more great ice pictures and Helicopter training

After last nights festivities Saturday October 26, 2013 was another day with training. We first had training on how to behave around helicopters and what to do and what not to do. Everyone knows that the back rotor kills and that you need to carry large objects horizontal instead of vertical. Did you know that helicopter rotors are very instable during shutdown and start up and that thus you either want to be inside of the helicopter or far away? Now I know. I already look forward to getting the first time back into a helicopter.

The second training session today was a station induction for Davis Station. Last and least for the day was a group foto on the helideck.

Aside from training there was some time to spent outside on deck. On the image menu were penguins, seals and ice.
Ah and I forgot the Group Photo on the Helideck, as we were talking today about Helicopter operation.
